GUR: Drone Struck Refinery Near Airfield In Kursk

The oil refinery is on fire.

In Kursk, on Sunday, September 24, in addition to the FSB building, a UAV hit an oil refinery near the airfield, Suspilne reports, citing sources in the GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence).

The publication's sources in Ukrainian intelligence said that subsequently in Kursk another drone hit an oil refinery near the airfield, and a fire started there.

On September 24, the governor of the Kursk region in Russia, Roman Starovoyt, said that a UAV attacked an administrative building in the center of Kursk. At the same time, local residents reported on Telegram that a drone attacked the FSB building.

As Astra reports, residents of Kursk reported a drone attack on the building of the FSB Directorate for the Kursk Region on Dobrolyubova Street.

The GUR reported that the drone attacked the FSB building in Kursk and it was a “direct hit”.
