AFU Colonel: Five Russian Regions Will Burn

It's not just the operations of the Ukrainian special forces.

The war is moving more and more into Russian territory. It is not only the occupiers' inferior missiles and outdated aircraft that are doing this, but also the Ukrainian special forces.

The effectiveness and prospects of strikes on the aggressor's territory were analysed for 24 Channel by military expert, flight instructor and AFU reserve colonel Roman Svitan.

Explosions in Russia

2 - 3 January was very turbulent in Belgorod. Videos from the networks show a lot of flashes, arrivals, explosions.

"This is done to protect Kharkiv from attacks with S-300 and Iskander missiles from the local airfield north of Belgorod, which protects the city from Ukrainian missile attacks," the reserve colonel noted.

He suggested that the missiles could have come from Smerch, Olkha or Tochka-U missile systems with a range of 70 to 120 kilometres.

The Belgorod airfield, from which the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv is so cynically and brutally shelled, is likely to continue to be targeted.

In addition to Belgorod, the "cotton" also visited the Kursk region.

In 5 Russian border regions: Kursk, Belgorod, Rostov, Voronezh and Bryansk regions, there are about 40 airfields which will soon be possible targets for AFU strikes.

"We should also not forget about the internal resistance forces that are emerging in these 'people's republics' and working as adjusters, carrying out certain actions to destroy military facilities on Russian territory," Svitan added.
