Soldiers of the 7th IDF Brigade successfully destroyed a significant number of terrorists in intense close combat, using tank and air fire during the expansion of the bridgehead in the south of Khan Yunis.

Soldiers conducted searches at the facilities of the terrorists in this sector. Ammunition, weapons, grenades, radios and many reconnaissance documents were found during the searches. In addition to this, the fighters of the combat group found a mine on the territory of the school, toys made in the form of a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and pictures of the process of teaching schoolchildren how to use weapons.

The Press Service notes that during the offensive, several RPG rockets were fired at the IDF fighters. After that, the fighters of the 7th group destroyed the terrorists who carried out the shelling.
