Reuters: Israel Liquidates Hezbollah Unit Senior Commander

An Israeli strike on south Lebanon on Monday killed a senior commander in Hezbollah's elite Radwan force, Reuters reports with a reference to three security sources.

The sources said he and another Hezbollah fighter were killed when their car was hit in a strike on the Lebanese village in the south of the country. One of the sources said: “Things may flare up now”. Agence France-Presse, citing a security official, notes that he played a key role in the attacks on Israeli territory.
