GUR Confirms Use Of Starlink By Russian Army

Ukrainian intelligence has revealed details.

The GUR (Ukrainian Defence Intelligence) officially confirmed that the Russian terrorist army began using the Starlink satellite Internet. The fact of using American technology by the invaders was recorded near Klishchiivka and Andriivka, Donetsk region.

At the same time, the scale of the Russians' use of Starlink terminals in the war is growing. The GUR Press Service reported.

Information appeared recently on the Web that Russian troops were using Starlink terminals at the front. This was confirmed, in particular, by aerial reconnaissance footage, which showed the characteristic Starlink rectangular antenna on the positions of the Russian occupiers.

Later, Ukrainian intelligence confirmed the use of Starlink satellite communication systems by Russian occupiers at the front. In particular, the radio interception of the invaders' conversation indicates that Starlink terminals were installed in the units of the 83rd Airborne Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces to establish access to the Internet.

Also, the GUR representatives added that the occupation troops of the 83rd Air Assault Brigade of terrorist Russia are operating in the Donetsk region near Klishchiivka and Andriivka.

At the same time, the representative of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov said that the scale of the use of Starlink terminals by the Russians in the war is growing. He explained that the situation with satellite Internet for the enemy is beginning to gain a systemic character.
