Media: NATO Сountry Received Information About Russian Attack Threat

Russia can commit military aggression against NATO within 3-5 years. Moreover, we are talking about data that was obtained in 2024. This was stated by Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

As Jyllands-Posten reports (translated by Glavred), he said that there is a possibility of a Russian attack in the coming years. Moscow has significantly increased its weapons production capabilities.

“It cannot be ruled out that within three to five years Russia will test the strength of Article 5 and NATO solidarity. NATO had no such assumption in 2023. This is new data that has become known now,” said Lund Poulsen and emphasized that Denmark needs to be prepared to respond.

The threat of a Russian attack on NATO

NATO has begun its largest military exercise in 40 years. The maneuvers will take place in Europe, including near the borders of Russia, and will last until the end of spring. About 90 thousand military personnel from different countries and dozens of units of military equipment will be involved.

Analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War believe that Russia wants to present the NATO Steadfast Defender exercise as a provocation. In particular, the Kremlin is trying to present Western maneuvers as, they say, inciting the Baltic countries to war with the Russian Federation.
