Russia Suspended Assaults Near Kupyansk, But There Is Nuance

The occupying forces of the Russian aggressor have reduced the pace of offensive operations in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region. The enemy was repulsed and suffered heavy losses. The enemy will probably now carry out a rotation or take an operational pause. This was stated by Head of the Kupyansk regional military administration Andriy Kanashevich.

On the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon UA Razom, he said that over the past few days a certain stabilization of the situation has been recorded in the Kupyansk direction. The occupiers carried out intensive offensive operations for 10-20 days, but now the pace has slowed down.

“According to available information, the night passed more or less calmly. There were also shellings on positions; there is no information yet on the shelled populated areas. But in general, it should be noted that over the past, perhaps two or three days, the situation has calmed down a little. The military notes a certain stabilization, there is control over the situation,” the official said.

According to him, the invaders will change their plans of action.

“Obviously, the enemy received a worthy rebuff and suffered very heavy losses, both in equipment and especially in manpower. Therefore, perhaps, they will either have a rotation now, or there will be some kind of operational pause in order to understand what to do next,” Andriy Kanashevich suggested and emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces retain control over the situation.
