The dictator was warned about the violation of international law.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka expressed hope to resume full-fledged cooperation with Georgia in the near future, his press service reports. At the same time, last year the dictator met with the head of the self-proclaimed Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, which caused condemnation from the Georgian side.
Georgia urged to "stop taking actions that contradict the fundamental principles and norms of international law." A year earlier, the dictator himself visited this territory.
Abkhazia, like Ossetia, are two unrecognized entities that emerged in the Caucasus after the war between Russia and Georgia in 2008.
