A Russian Missile Struck The Moscow Oil Refinery: New Video

The launch was carried out using the "Pantsir" anti-aircraft missile and gun system.

A video has surfaced online showing a Russian missile striking the Moscow Oil Refinery. The clip was shared by Ukrainian Telegram channels, according to "Important Stories".

It appears the video was originally posted on the Chinese version of TikTok—as evidenced by the watermark and the Chinese speech in the background.

The footage shows how a drone is heading toward the MNPP, but then a missile flies past it and strikes the tank directly, sending the lid flying into the air.

The authenticity of the video was confirmed by the Z-Channel “Military Informant.”

“The situation with the leak of a bunch of videos once again clearly demonstrates that if there is a huge number of migrant workers and foreign tourists in the area of the targeted facility, then all bans on publishing footage of airstrikes or air defense operations aimed at the country’s citizens will have absolutely no effect,” he wrote.

Earlier, Telegram channels also published videos showing similar missiles being launched from man-portable air defense systems in the Moscow region. These clips show that the crews were acting chaotically.

The information was confirmed by OSINT analysts at the Russian media outlet ASTRA.

They analyzed a video filmed by an eyewitness in the “Novye Kotelniki” neighborhood, 17, which captures the moment just before the explosion and the dome-shaped roof of one of the Moscow Oil Refinery’s storage tanks being blown into the air.

According to ASTRA, the footage shows a characteristic contrail, which made it possible to determine the missile’s flight path. A project analyst concluded that the explosion occurred immediately after the air defense missile was fired and struck the oil storage facility.

Analysts believe the missile was launched from a “Pantsir” anti-aircraft missile and gun system. According to preliminary data, the missile was flying in from the northeast.
