The Third Separate Assault Brigade has started using so-called ‘dragon drones’. The new Ukrainian development does not yet have a universally accepted name; these are drones that spray thermite over the enemy.

The Third SABr called the new UAV ‘lethal against the occupants.’ With its help, Ukrainian defenders burn out entire landings with the enemy all at once.

‘This is know-how in the style of dashing Vietnam. The first footage from the Third Assault is the use of a new kind of UAV against the Russians in Kharkiv region. It smells like Lucky Strike, like searing revenge and like well-fried enemy infantry,’ the Azov fighters noted.

They added that the novelty ‘sprays an incendiary mixture and is capable of destroying enemy positions, storage depots of ammunition and all the greenery occupied by the occupants.’

Falling from the drone, thermite resembles fire bursting out of the mouth of a mythical dragon, which is why the drones got their name.
