On the night of October 10, explosions were heard in Kiev: the Russians massively attacked the city with "Shaheds" and ballistic missiles. Due to the shelling in the capital, a large-scale de-energization on the left bank was recorded, and there is also destruction and casualties.
The consequences of the Russian attack on the capital were recorded in several districts. The enemy attack damaged residential development sites and civil infrastructure, the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine reported this morning.
The destruction of residential houses was recorded in the Pechersk district of Kiev. There, the debris of downed drones caused a fire in a multi-story building. Employees of the State Emergency Service managed to save only 20 residents, 9 more people were injured. 5 people are under medical observation.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko also reported on the aftermath of the Russian attack on the night of October 10. He noted that in addition to a house in the Pechersk district, a nine-story building in the Goloseevsky district and several cars were also damaged. In the nine-storey building there was no fire: the debris damaged the facade and windows of the building.
In Desnyanskyi and Podolskyi districts of the capital the debris fell. In Desnyanskyi they were found in an open area near a polyclinic, in Podolskyi - in an open area.

The KSCA informed that in connection with the Russian attack the movement of subway trains will take place on a modified schedule. In particular, it is known that the movement of trains between the stations "Slavutich" and "Krasny Khutor" is still impossible due to the current situation with the power supply.
The official page of the Kiev ring train from "Ukrzaliznytsia" Kyiv City Express in Telegram reported that the train will run in accordance with the schedule.
"Minor delays are possible due to missing priority trains, but we are moving on," the message said.
DTEK informed in the morning that part of the capital was left without light as a result of the Russian Federation attack. However, power engineers are already working on restoring power supply: first for the capital's critical infrastructure facilities.
The extent of the damage caused by the attack will be assessed as soon as the security situation allows, the agency said.
