Syrsky Claimed A Breakthrough On The Frontline

The counter-offensive actions of the AFU are yielding results.

Ukrainian troops continue their counteroffensive in the Dobropillya direction, repulsing enemy attacks and inflicting significant losses.

This is stated in a statement by the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky.

Syrsky noted that the operational situation on the front remains difficult. According to him, the Ukrainian defense forces are focusing their main efforts on containing the enemy, stabilizing the situation in threatening directions, primarily Limansk, Pokrovsk, Dobropolsk, Novopavlovsk, and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

So, according to the Commander-in-Chief, during September the total losses of the Russian occupants amounted to 28.5 thousand people.

"Held a comprehensive working meeting on the results of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in September. Our defense is active. The counter-offensive operation of the Ukrainian troops in the Dobropolskoye direction continues," he said.

According to Syrskyy, thanks to the successful actions of units of the Airborne Assault Troops, assault regiments, other parts of the Defense Forces, it is possible to stop and throw back the enemy, who planned to seize the territory of the entire Donetsk region in early autumn.
