Erdogan Made A Sensational Statement About Rare Earth Metals

Turkey has found a huge deposit.

Turkey's leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the discovery of a rare earth metal deposit in Beylikova district, Eskisehir, estimated at 694 million tons, which is the second largest reserve in the world after China. Erdogan's statement to this effect is quoted by TRT.

The Turkish leader said that after the discovery of this deposit, the country expects to become one of the world's top five producers of rare earth metals.

Erdogan also said that the Sakarya gas field is already producing fuel to supply four million households, and this figure will rise to 16 million by 2028.

He emphasized that Turkey does not intend to give up control over strategic resources and will continue to develop its own processing technologies.
