They do not come back after the ‘weekend’.
Russian soldiers released to rest ‘for the weekend’ from the location of the 70th regiment in Zaporizhzhia region are not found alive afterwards.
The Russian army has started to lose soldiers in Zaporizhzhia region, all without fighting with the AFU. The 70th Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment, whose commanders were sending their subordinates for the ‘weekend’ to Tokmak and Melitopol, has found itself at the epicentre of the emergency. The problems began after the Russian soldiers started disappearing without returning from the weekend.
According to Atesh, the regiment's command came up with an absurd explanation, trying to blame it on ‘drunk fights over women’ with locals’. The partisans pointed to rumours among the occupants of the 70th MRR, because the frightened invaders claim that one of their comrades-in-arms was ‘killed by a local resident who hates Russian troops’. However, a lot of soldiers of the 70th MRR left its ranks by means of unauthorised abandonment of the unit.
‘Contact us - we will help you keep your life,’ Atesh urged.
