"The Sooner Russian Oil Refineries Are Blown To Smithereens, The Better"

The Estonian prime minister made a strong statement.

Estonia continues to insist that Russian oil refineries and power plants must be destroyed because they are financing the war against Ukraine.

According to a “European Truth” correspondent in Brussels, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal made this statement before the start of the European Council meeting on October 15.

In Brussels, the Estonian prime minister reiterated his previously stated position that Russian oil refineries must be destroyed, since the sale of energy resources finances the war.

“I have publicly stated in Estonia that the sooner all Russian oil refineries and facilities enabling the sale of energy resources are reduced to rubble, the better. Because Russia is financing the war,” Michal said.
Nevertheless, he emphasized that Estonia relies on the U.S. as a partner and NATO ally that assists with security matters.
“We rely on them. Sometimes even good friends need to be reminded of what’s right,” said the Estonian prime minister.

He noted that Estonia shares a border with Russia and enjoys the support of three nuclear powers within NATO: the U.S., the U.K., and France.

“We have faced situations where ‘shadow fleet’ vessels have damaged our cables and various pipelines. We have had instances of Russian fighter jets violating our airspace. We’ve even had to shoot down various drones in our airspace. In all these cases, we received assistance from NATO,” said Kristen Mihal.

“Therefore, based on this, I must say that NATO is working well, and the U.S. is a partner within NATO. Trump most recently assured us and everyone else in Ankara that he is honoring his commitments to NATO, including Article 5,” he added.
