Talks between representatives from Europe, Ukraine, and the United States in Oslo led to “real progress” in both the short and long term. This was reported by The Guardian.
“We have reached some peace agreements that will be presented tomorrow in St. Petersburg. <...> Our task is to do everything possible to put an end to the conflict. And I think today marked a step in the right direction,” the Finnish president noted.
According to him, the talks focused on “key issues.” Specifically, the parties discussed air defense, energy, and partial ceasefires “in the areas of energy and food security.”
In addition, Stubb emphasized that “at the technical level,” the negotiators “understand each other.”
