The attack took place in the Tambov Region.

Ukrainian drones damaged a linear production and control station (LPCS) on the “Druzhba” oil pipeline. The attack took place in the Tambov Region of Russia. According to local online sources, a fire broke out at the facility.

The publication Exilenova determined that the incident occurred at the “Nikolskoye” station in the Michurinsky District. This is one of the transport hubs of the Druzhba oil pipeline, through which approximately 300,000 metric tons of oil and petroleum products are pumped daily.

According to independent experts, Russia’s oil infrastructure is in poor technical condition. Regular attacks by Ukrainian drones on oil refineries, pumping stations, port terminals, and pipelines have reduced the production capacity of Russian fuel companies by approximately 50%.

Repairing damaged equipment takes anywhere from several weeks to several months. This is due, in part, to the sanctions imposed on Russia. To replace some of the damaged components, Russian companies have to purchase equipment on the black market and ship it while circumventing Western restrictions.
