The occupiers started scrambling.
Russia is preparing key logistics hubs for possible strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Staff members of the Rostov Region Road Administration, as well as civilian and military agencies, have received the relevant directive from the Southern Military District headquarters.
According to agents from “ATESH”, this involves, in particular, preparing bridges and other crossings used to supply Russian troop formations. Plans call for strengthening security at these sites, installing anti-drone nets and electronic warfare equipment, and preparing pontoon bridge spares.
Russia is preparing bridges and alternate routes
“ATESH” agents report that civilian and military agencies have received instructions from the Southern Military District headquarters to urgently prepare logistics hubs for attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Rosavtodor, the Railway Administration, and regional administrations have received instructions from the General Staff of the Russian Federation and district headquarters.
This concerns key crossings used to supply troop formations.
Which directions are being prepared
In the Rostov hub, work is underway to reinforce road and rail bridges across the Don River, and alternate routes are being prepared. Similar measures are being implemented on the Taganrog front.
On the Crimean front, there are plans to resume active offensives in the Sivash and Vermensk areas.
In the Belgorod Region, bridges near Shelyaev and Urazov are being placed on high alert.
According to “ATESH,” targeted strikes on local crossings are expected to significantly slow the delivery of ammunition and the buildup of military equipment on the anticipated detour routes.
How the bridges will be defended
A number of protective measures are planned for these facilities. Specifically, round-the-clock checkpoints manned by the Russian National Guard and military command posts will be established, and anti-drone nets and electronic warfare systems will be deployed.
There are also plans to form pontoon bridge backup teams and engineering units.
The bridges remain the main supply arteries for the Russian army. Damage to them would block the delivery of fuel, ammunition, and personnel.
