Drones Attack Russia's Largest Oil Refinery In Siberia

Explosions can be heard, and smoke is coming out of the pipes.

Drones are attacking Russia's largest oil refinery—the Omsk Oil Refinery.

According to ASTRA, local residents are reporting this.

“The Omsk Oil Refinery is under attack. Smoke is coming out of the pipes. Two explosions were heard,” they say.

Earlier, a drone threat was declared in the Omsk Region. Authorities announced possible restrictions on mobile internet use. Restrictions were also imposed at the Omsk airport.
Prior to this, a state of emergency related to drones had been declared throughout the entire Ural Federal District.

The attack was confirmed by Governor Vitaliy Khotsenko.

As a reminder, on July 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces confirmed the strike on the Omsk Oil Refinery, located nearly 2,500 km from Ukraine’s state border.

The Omsk Oil Refinery is the last of Russia’s 11 largest gasoline producers to have been attacked by Ukrainian drones.
