Drones Attacked A Gas Processing Plant In Russia's Samara Region

A massive fire broke out.

On the night of February 21, drones attacked the Samara region of the Russian Federation, hitting the Neftegorsk gas processing plant. A large-scale fire has risen at the site.

It is known that five tanks of the plant are burning at once at the site of the strike. The attack is reported by monitoring channels, writes "Focus".

The threat of drones in the region was announced as early as around 22:00 hours on February 20. The strike on a gas processing plant in the Samara region of the Russian Federation was reported around 00:30 hours. Soon the network said that the situation in Neftegorsk escalated as a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the plant after the explosions.

The network spread footage from the scene. The videos show a bright glow in the sky and fire engulfing the area.

OSINT analysts tell us that the plant under attack is an operating facility specializing in processing natural gas as well as associated petroleum gas (APG). The plant in Neftegorsk processes natural gas and APG from the area's oil fields.
