Poland extends border controls at the borders with Germany and Lithuania for the period from April 5 to October 1. This was announced on Saturday, March 28, by the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration in the social network X.

"This decision is due to the need to counter illegal migration and ensure internal security," - emphasized in the agency.

The order is monitored by officers of the Polish Border Guard (Border Guard Service), Polish police and soldiers of the territorial defense troops.
