Minsk Found Itself In The Basement Of The Rating Of The Best Cities In The World

Of the neighbors, only Moscow is in the worst position.

The Numbeo platform has published a ranking of the world's cities by quality of life in 2026. The list takes into account the level of safety, availability and quality of medicine, the cost of living, the ratio of housing prices to income, the level of pollution, as well as the time that residents spend on the road to work.

The leader of the rating was The Hague (Netherlands). The other positions in the top five were also occupied by Dutch cities - Utrecht, Eindhoven, Groningen and Rotterdam.

The top ten also included Luxembourg (Luxembourg), Vienna (Austria), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Ghent (Belgium) and Nuremberg (Germany).

Minsk ranked 215th out of 304 cities.

Comparing with neighboring capitals, Vilnius ranked 90th, Riga - 157th, and Warsaw - 182nd.

Moscow ranked 242nd.
