The reputation of the Russian authorities has "fallen below the plinth".
Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky has published a new video in which he deconstructed the statements of Russian military bloggers and propagandists about the course of the war. According to him, even the Kremlin's most radical supporters increasingly recognize that the war against Ukraine has reached a stalemate and is not bringing Russia the expected results, writes "Dialogue".
People are waiting for the war to end
One example Kazansky calls statements by propagandist Ivan Pankin. On air, he admitted that Russian society is tired of the protracted war and more and more people are waiting for it to end.
At the same time, the propagandist himself notes that he cannot speak openly about the problems, because in Russia one can lose his job or even get a criminal case for such words.
Reputation has fallen below the plinth
The situation is described even more harshly by military bloggers who do not work directly for state TV channels. For example, Maksim Kalashnikov said that the reputation of the Russian authorities has "fallen below the plinth".
Including because of regular strikes by Ukrainian missiles and drones on Russian regions, including facilities in the deep rear. According to him, such attacks demonstrate the weakness of the country's defense system and undermine the authority of the leadership.
Kalashnikov claims that Russia is now being "wiped off its feet" and that the authorities cannot adequately respond to what is happening.
The war has reached a stalemate
Another Russian war correspondent Yuri Kotenok also admitted that the war has actually reached a stalemate.
He said the Russian army has no forces to break through Ukraine's defenses, and the pace of the offensive is so slow that advancing to major cities could take years or even decades.
He called the situation in the Black Sea a separate problem. According to the military correspondent, the Russian Black Sea Fleet, after a series of successful strikes by Ukraine, is forced to keep its ships in bays.
At the same time, even there Ukrainian naval drones continue to attack Russian ships, which seriously limits their capabilities.
Kotenok also complained about technical problems in the army. We are talking about the lack of modern equipment, outdated weapons systems and serious communication problems. According to him, on the front line they sometimes use wired phones that look like devices from the middle of the last century.
