World leaders do not take Russian dictator Vladimir Putin seriously, as he has compromised both himself and Russia with the war against Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by former president Andrzej Duda in an interview with the founder of "Gordon" Dmitry Gordon.
"I think that for no really great leader, especially for the presidents of the United States, Putin today is not a really serious partner. Not only because he is the perpetrator of a war that involves war crimes and, in fact, is jointly and severally responsible for that, along with his soldiers and decision-makers," he said.
Duda said the Russian ruler is not perceived as a partner because the "great" Russia under his leadership cannot win the war with Ukraine."
"Especially at its beginning in 2022, when it seemed that Russian tank columns would throw caps at the small, poorly equipped Ukrainian army. It turned out that the courage of Ukraine's defenders surpassed both Russian heavy equipment, the number of Russian soldiers, and Russian organization (or rather, disorganization)," Duda stressed.
The former Polish president said that "this undoubtedly compromised Russia and Putin."
"The great Russian empire cannot win a war with Ukraine. And it's very good that it can't win a war with Ukraine. I hope it doesn't win a war with anyone. And I hope he doesn't start any new war again. And that's what the free world should really be concerned about today: that Russia can't start any new war. That should be our main concern today, right after ending this war, how to help Ukraine dislodge the Russians, end the war and get back to normal life," he concluded.
