In Poland, Two People Have Been Taken Into Custody In Connection With The Murder Of Artist Semen Skrepetsky

The murder suspect is still at large.
Three people have been detained in Poland in connection with a murder in the town of Biała Podlaska of Russian opposition artist Semyon Skrepetsky, known for his anti-Putin cartoons.
This was reported by RMF FM.
Two of these individuals are in custody; one has been released.
One of the detainees is a man who works in passenger transportation.
Investigators reported that they have not yet been able to apprehend the person suspected of the murder.
Officers from the criminal division of the Lublin Provincial Police have joined the search.
The Russian man was killed on Monday, June 15, shortly before 10:00 a.m. On Queen Jadwiga Street, an unknown assailant fired several shots at a passerby.
Despite prompt assistance from emergency services, the victim died at the scene. The assailant allegedly fired several shots at close range and then shot the man while he was already lying on the ground.
The victim was 44-year-old Russian citizen Semyon Skrepetsky, an author of anti-Putin cartoons who emigrated to Poland in 2021.
Just last Friday, the artist participated in a protest in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin.
