"I'm The Boss Here": Trump Was Late For The G7 Leaders' Meeting

The U.S. president arrived nearly an hour late.

During the summit in Evian, France, G7 leaders demonstrated a united front regarding continued support for Ukraine and increased pressure on Russia. Against this backdrop, U.S. President Donald Trump drew attention with a sensational statement about his role in international negotiations, writes Reuters.

According to reporters, Trump was nearly an hour late for the G7 leaders’ meeting on global economic security.

He subsequently entered the room and jokingly said:

“I’m the boss here.”

This remark drew laughter from the room. Trump walked over to his seat, shaking hands with French President Emmanuel Macron.

This meeting was closed to the press, but Trump invited the journalists who were in the room before the meeting began to stay.

“Do you want to stay for the meeting? I don’t mind,” Trump said, addressing the cameras.

However, the French organizers immediately asked the media representatives to leave the room.
