"I Was In Such A State Of Shock"

In Baranovichi, there were huge lines at the medical examination commission.

At the Baranovichi Medical and Consultative Clinic at 5 Komsomolskaya Street, huge lines have formed for medical certificates required for driver’s license exams, military registration, job applications, and other purposes. A video from there was posted on TikTok on July 15 by user _nekrash._. After the video was posted, the situation changed “dramatically,” according to another TikTok user.

In the comments, those who tried to see a doctor shared their impressions:

“I was just in shock: people were sitting there, and there was no one at the reception desk. We started asking questions, and it turned out they were on a hygiene break. Not everyone has that many breaks—it’s like everyone’s on their cleaning break. I was in such a state of shock. And at first, I walked in without noticing that machine [where they hand out tickets], started waiting in line, until I heard them calling people in. I’m such a country bumpkin—I was actually embarrassed. <…> There was an argument there yesterday. I came in the morning, sat there until lunchtime, came back after lunch—and it was the health break. Many people left with their tickets; I ran out cursing too,”—Zhannochka.
