In Belgorod, the secretary of the city branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Alexander Logvinov was killed in a drone attack on a Lukoil gas station. According to Russian media reports, the drone struck his car, and the man died from his injuries.
As reported by the Telegram channel “Pepel”, citing a statement from the Belgorod Regional Branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Alexander Logvinov died on July 21 as a result of a drone attack on a gas station.
According to the Belgorod Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF), Logvinov served as secretary of the Belgorod City Committee of the party and was a member of the regional committee. The party confirmed his death, stating that he passed away on July 21.
Sergey Gavrilov , a State Duma deputy from the KPRF , stated that the drone struck Logvinov’s car, which was on the premises of the Lukoil gas station. According to him, the man sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene before emergency services arrived. In addition to the car in which the victim was traveling, media reports indicate that four other vehicles nearby were damaged.
Throughout his political career, Logvinov repeatedly ran for elected office at various levels of government. In addition, he was responsible for organizing protests for the city branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF).
Earlier, the Telegram channel “Pepel” reported that on July 21, a drone attacked a Lukoil gas station on Volchanskaya Street in Belgorod. Following the strike, a car and gas station equipment caught fire on the premises.

According to the Telegram channel “Pepel,” on July 23, Belgorod and other settlements in the region were subjected to a large-scale drone attack throughout the day. The first reports of UAVs flying overhead appeared as early as last night, and in the morning, the drones began attacking various targets in the city.
According to the channel, gas stations were among the main targets. The Lukoil gas station on Vodstroy Street, the Teboil station on Sumskaya Street, and the Gazprom and Tatneft stations on Magistralnaya Street were all hit. The strikes caused fires and damaged canopies, gas station equipment, and parked cars. According to local authorities, a woman and two men were injured at the Teboil gas station.
In addition, drones attacked the wholesale market on Chicherin Street, where two men were injured and three trucks were damaged by debris. Another drone struck a truck, damaging its cab and trailer.
Explosions were also heard in downtown Belgorod. Initial reports suggested that the drone might have been heading toward the regional administration building; however, “Pepel” later clarified that the UAV crashed near the civil registry office after electronic countermeasures were deployed. As a result of the explosion, two men sustained shrapnel wounds to their legs, and two more vehicles were damaged.
In addition to Belgorod, attacks were also recorded in various districts of the region. According to reports, drones struck vehicles, businesses, and civilian infrastructure. In the Shebekinsky District, a man was killed when a drone struck his car, and several other people in various towns were injured.
Around noon, a missile alert was issued in the region. Following a series of powerful explosions, a Telegram channel reported a probable strike on the dam of the Belgorod Reservoir, and subsequently—a second strike on the same target. No information on the extent of possible damage was available at that time.
