The Ukrainian Armed Forces And The Security Service Of Ukraine Struck A Russian Factory, An Oil Refinery, And Ships In The Caspian Sea

An impressive strike was launched against the Russian Federation's navy in the waters of the Caspian Sea.

Ukrainian defense forces struck a Russian military facility, an oil refinery, a fuel and lubricants depot, transport vessels, and a military ship belonging to the occupying forces in the Caspian Sea.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the SBU on Telegram.

“Ukraine continues to carry out long-range strikes in response to Russian attacks. Last night, our Defense Forces struck targets across various regions of Russia that are supporting this war,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.

In particular, he confirmed another strike on a facility in Kirov, which supplies components for Russian weapons. The facility is located about 1,200 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

“We also (launched a strike—ed.) on an oil refinery in Tyumen, a logistics facility in Yekaterinburg, and a fuel and lubricants depot in Rostov-on-Don,” Zelenskyy noted.

In addition, the Ukrainian president reported that there have been “very good results from long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea.”

“Specifically, these were ships involved in transporting military cargo from Iran, as well as a military vessel,” Zelenskyy concluded.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) specified that a missile boat, two cargo ships, a radar station, and an oil production platform were struck.

Specifically, in Rostov-on-Don, strikes were carried out against:
the 92N6E “Grave Stone” multifunctional radar station, part of the S-400 “Triumph” air defense system;

the “Tor-M2” anti-aircraft missile system and the “Pole-21” electronic warfare system;

two warehouses containing FPV drones.

In the waters of the Caspian Sea, SBU drones struck:
an oil production platform at the “Filanovskoye” field;
the cargo ship Port Olya 2 and the dry cargo ship Begey, which are subject to international sanctions and were used to transport military cargo between Iran and Russia;
the Project 12418 “Molniya” missile boat.

Earlier, the website Charter97.org reported that a large-scale fire broke out in Rostov, Russia, as a result of a drone attack, and in Engels, a military barracks was on fire.

Authorities in Russia’s Sverdlovsk Region also reported a drone attack. The targets included Wildberries warehouses in Yekaterinburg, located nearly 2,000 km from the front lines.
