"A Lot"

A Belarusian woman shared how much her wedding ceremony cost her.

Daria, a Belarusian woman, spent about 4,1 thousand rubles on a mural in Grodno. On TikTok, she explained in detail what the money was spent on, admitting in passing that the total came out to be quite high, as noted by the publication Hrodna.life.

Daria spent 270 rubles on beauty treatments, including a manicure, pedicure, makeup, and hairstyling. She bought her dress from the Grodno-based brand Krikate—the outfit cost 380 rubles, and she paid an additional 210 rubles for her shoes. “That’s a lot,” Daria added.

Her husband’s hair, clothes, and shoes cost a total of 325 rubles.

Daria put together her bouquet on the day of the wedding—the flowers cost the bride 122 rubles. One of the most budget-friendly expenses turned out to be the registration at the civil registry office—just the basic fee, which was 45 rubles.

The couple spent about 2,400 rubles on wedding rings, and the photographer’s services cost approximately 280 rubles.

In addition, Daria factored in taxi rides and a trip to a café—so the family spent about 4,1 thousand rubles on a wedding without guests in 2026.

From “very budget-friendly” to “23 Belarusian rubles”: what commenters are saying

Opinions were divided in the comments under Daria’s video. Some write that the wedding registration in Grodno turned out to be truly budget-friendly and even compare the cost of the service to a trip to the dentist. Others are sarcastic, saying that, in fact, “the registration costs one basic fee,” and the rest are optional expenses.

“A divorce would be cheaper!!” writes Kesha.

“The marriage registration costs 45 rubles. Everything else is a waste of money,” says OSOZANIE.

“In Lida in April, renting a cottage for two and food for six people came to 8,200,” says Anzhelichka.

“My friend spent 23,000 Belarusian rubles. It turned out to be a gorgeous wedding,” shares another user.

“Zakhara’s haircut was kind of pricey—50 rubles,” jokes Mikhalina.
