What did the analysis of X-101 reveal?
An analysis of Russian Kh-101 missile in Poland has shown that Russia is using newly manufactured weapons to strike Ukraine.
This was reported by Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on social media.
Polish experts, including specialists from the Military Gendarmerie, continue to examine the debris of a Russian X-101 cruise missile, which was discovered after it violated Polish airspace.
According to him, analysis of the fragments is providing more and more information about the missile’s origin and date of manufacture.
As Kosiniak-Kamysz reported, experts have determined that the missile was manufactured in the second quarter of 2026 at a facility located near Moscow.
According to the Polish minister, this may indicate that Russia is using weapons produced shortly before their deployment in attacks on Ukraine.
“The missile was built in the second quarter of this year at a factory near Moscow. This means that Russia is using missiles manufactured very recently to shell Ukraine. This confirms reports that Russian military stockpiles have been depleted,” Kosiniak-Kamysz noted.
He also emphasized that continued support for Ukraine remains important because, in his view, it helps bring the war to an end and directly affects the security of European nations.
