On the morning of August 28, a partial lunar eclipse, which had reached its peak, was visible over Belarus. Photos of the beautiful moon were published by the Telegram channel "Meteovibe".

This time, the eclipse coincided with a supermoon—a full moon that occurs when the Moon is at its closest point to Earth.

As a result of this coincidence, our planet’s satellite took on a reddish-brown hue.

In the comments on the photos, Belarusians shared their own shots. For example, Konstantin managed to capture the supermoon even before the eclipse.
