Putin's Aide Denied The Belarusian Authorities' Statement

Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Moscow, according to Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov, is of an unofficial nature.

According to him, talks between Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin are scheduled for Saturday. The meeting will take place in an informal setting.

“Lukashenko is currently in Moscow on an unofficial visit. Talks between him and Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin are scheduled for tomorrow. After the talks, the leaders will meet in an informal setting,” said Ushakov.

Earlier, the Belarusian side reported that Lukashenko had arrived in Russia on a working visit.

Previously, as reported by the website Charter97.org, Lukashenko promised to resolve the “problem” in Ukraine together with Russia.
