A fire broke out.
On the afternoon of August 7, gunfire was heard in occupied Yalta. According to eyewitnesses, the local port is under attack by maritime drones.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind.”
“In Yalta, following the gunfire, something is burning intensely near the waterfront, according to subscribers. There was no explosion. This may be the result of mobile fire teams’ operations,” the message states.
In addition, it is noted that the occupying authorities had previously warned the city’s residents about attacks by unmanned boats (UBVs).
Following this, an emergency evacuation of people from the beaches and waterfronts took place.
“Attention! An operation to defuse an unmanned boat (UB) is underway in Yalta. We ask all residents and visitors to the city to immediately leave the Primorsky Park area,” the statement from the occupying authorities reads.
Subsequently, videos and photos of a large-scale fire in the port area began circulating on social media.
