Former 2020 election candidate Viktor Babariko is settling into life as a free man. In an interview He told “Polish Radio” that he had decided to start a business in Germany.

— I’m currently in Germany, living in Berlin, and sometimes I call myself a “VIP emigrant,” since certain procedures and, presumably, certain opportunities have arisen thanks to a direct invitation from the German government, and the fact that Germany has granted me refugee status or asylum certainly helps in some way, and the Belarusians here in Berlin are a great help.”

The reception, support, medical examination, and provision of medical services were all very well organized. As of now, practically all the paperwork has been taken care of—that is, I have a foreigner’s passport for travel, I have a German ID, I have German health insurance, I’m registered at the job center, and I’m receiving benefits. My day-to-day matters are taken care of.

I’ve finally figured out what I’ll be doing to make a living. A major part of my life will be devoted to business. I’ve registered a company in Germany and developed a clear vision of the range of services this company will provide. I’m already in negotiations to sign contracts. The overall focus is on consulting and transforming people and companies into AI Native Life and AI Native Company.

I really want to return to Belarus. Accordingly, I want to live in Belarus, I want to work in Belarus, and I want to be of service—first and foremost, of course, in Belarus. “That’s why, whenever possible—and even within the scope of what I’ll be doing—one of my top priorities will be whether it can be useful to Belarusians,” said Babariko.
