According to him, economic problems and the consequences of attacks on the aggressor country’s infrastructure could spark protest sentiment within the country.

According to the expert, the growing influence of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) and the possible rise to power of radical communists could lead to serious economic upheaval and conflict within the Russian elite.

Zagorodny believes that the destabilization of Russia’s home front could potentially affect Moscow’s ability to continue the war against Ukraine.
