Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces have successfully eliminated Russian Major General Anton Grunis, who recently reported to dictator Vladimir Putin on the alleged “capture” of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region.
This was announced by SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.

According to “Madyar,” this successful operation was carried out by soldiers of the 427th Separate Brigade of the “Rarog” Unmanned Systems Forces.
As early as September 12, in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast, they were able not only to locate Grunis but also to deliver a devastating strike against him.
Against this backdrop, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces recalled Putin’s words about this general: “A man with a Lithuanian surname, born in Kazan, is fighting brilliantly.”
“Madyar” also noted that Grunis was awarded the title of Hero of Russia precisely after he reported to the Kremlin leader in July 2026 that Konstantinovka had been completely “captured.”
“As a man with a Hungarian last name, born in Ukraine, and fighting the Birds for my homeland, I report with my own voice: General Grunis was eliminated by the SBS ‘reward’ unit of the Birds’ retribution squad on September 12, 2026, in a nighttime hideout in the Donetsk region’s ATO zone,” “Magyar” confirmed.
He also noted that this is already the seventh confirmed military commander at the brigade, division, and army levels to have been eliminated specifically by fighters of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
“This time, the ‘Birds’ of the 427th Separate UAS Brigade ‘Rarog’ carried out the operation with precision. Thank you for your dedicated service and heroic struggle, ‘Birds’! We will stand firm. Moscow will fall,” emphasized “Madyar.”
