This is the new reality that Ukraine is officially warning about.
Ukraine will respond to Russia’s aerial terror with a proportionate and forceful countermeasure. From now on, Russian airspace will no longer be safe.
This was reported by Charter97.org, citing a statement by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, on Telegram.
Budanov supported Zelenskyy’s decision
According to Budanov, on September 1, the Kremlin turned the day into “yet another day of terror against Ukrainian children and civilian infrastructure.”
“Guided by the right to self-defense, Ukraine will deliver a firm and proportionate response. I fully support the decision of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” writes the head of the Presidential Office.
As Budanov says, Russia’s airspace is no longer safe.
This is a new reality about which Ukraine is officially warning:
international airlines,
insurers,
and partners.
“Our long-range weapons will systematically target military objectives on enemy territory,” Budanov assured.
In his view, Ukraine respects its partners’ diplomatic efforts and is ready to provide targeted pauses “exclusively for concrete steps toward ending the war.”
However, as long as the aggression continues, Ukrainian drones and missiles will dominate the Russian sky, he assured.
As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian airspace will de facto be closed.
