The CSTO Will Conduct Military Exercises In Belarus

The main site will be the Losvido training ground in the Vitebsk Region.
From October 11 to 16, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will hold the “Unbreakable Brotherhood—2026” exercises in Belarus. This was announced by Andrei Serdyukov , Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff .
The main venue will be the Losvido training ground in the Vitebsk Region—that is where the organization’s peacekeeping forces will undergo training. The exercises will also involve aviation units, engineering units, drone crews, medical specialists, EMERCOM rescue workers, internal troops, and the OMON special police unit of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the same time, another CSTO exercise—“Barrier-2026”—will take place at the Starodorozhsky training ground. As part of these exercises, a joint radiological, chemical, and biological defense unit, together with medical support, will practice responding to biological threats.
In addition, exercise participants will practice skills for mitigating the consequences of a large-scale and rapidly spreading outbreak of dangerous infectious diseases, as well as tasks related to a collective response to such threats.
