A Drone Crashed And Exploded In Moldova

A drone was spotted flying at low altitude over Bendery.

On the morning of September 30, a drone flew through Moldovan airspace, after which it crashed outside the village of Girbovets in the Anenii Noi district and exploded.

The General Inspectorate of Police reported this on social media, according to the publication NewsMaker.

As noted, police were alerted to the incident at 5:40 a.m., when a report came in that a drone flying at low altitude had been spotted over the city of Bendery.

The drone subsequently crashed near the village of Girbovets, where it exploded. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

The area has been cordoned off, and specialized police units are working at the scene. Experts will examine the object and determine all the circumstances of the incident.
