Whitcoff And Kushner May Visit Moscow And Kyiv On September 5–6

This will be their first trip to Ukraine together.

Special envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump Steven Whitcoff and Jared Kushner may visit Moscow and Kyiv this coming weekend, to continue negotiations on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

According to the Russian state news agency TASS, Whitcoff and Kushner plan to arrive in Moscow on Saturday, September 5, and travel to Kyiv on Sunday, September 6. The Kyiv Independent.

However, the trip by the U.S. representatives to Kyiv has not yet been confirmed. Citing its own source, the Kyiv Independent reported that Whitcoff allegedly began to have reservations about the visit due to Russian shelling of the Ukrainian capital. Other options for holding the meeting are also being considered.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Trump’s representatives had confirmed the possibility of their visit to Ukraine.
