The Lublin Airport Suspended Operations During The Russian Attack On Ukraine

In Poland, air operations at Lublin Airport were suspended due to the activity of the Polish Air Force, which was scrambled during massive Russian attack on Ukraine.

This was reported by the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) on X.

A warning about the suspension of flights at Lublin Airport was issued around 7 a.m. local time. PANSA explained that these measures are necessary to ensure the freedom of action for the Polish Air Force.

At 7:42 a.m., the agency reported that the airport had resumed operations.

In addition, during the Russian strikes on Ukraine, residents of the Lublin and Podkarpackie provinces received notifications from the Government Security Center. The messages emphasized the need to remain vigilant, monitor announcements, and respond to alarms.

Subsequent notifications reported that the Russian attack on Ukraine had ended. It was stated that there was no longer a threat to Polish territory.
