Lukashenko’s regime threatens its European neighbors and uses illegal migration as a weapon against EU countries. The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, wrote about this on the social media platform X.

“Lukashenko has turned Belarus into a springboard for Russia’s war. His regime threatens European neighbors and uses illegal migration against them,” she noted.

Kallas described her visit to the “Padvarionis” on the border between Lithuania and Belarus and expressed confidence that the complex tunnels used to smuggle migrants are compelling evidence that Minsk is involved.

Kallas emphasized that Europeans, in cooperation with NATO, must “step up surveillance of the eastern flank.”
