Finkevich withdraws from Young Front

Artur Finkevich has stated he severs himself from the Young Front organisation. A statement about that has been disseminated by the former deputy chairman on October 9.

“With the respect to the recent events covered by mass media, and discussed in the lobbies and the democratic community, I believe that the existing conflict in the organisation could be stopped only by a serious and principled decision by one of the sides,” A. Finkevich noted.

“For the sake of the organisation’s preservation, for our common aim to be reached sooner, for the sake of our future, I state that I withdraw from the Young Front,” Finkevich said.

“I am sure that my step would make the existing conflict disappear as such. I have never supported publicizing internal problems existing in the organisation; I simply had to play according to the rules offered by the other side. I hope that the inner conflict is over, but it would allow the people who continue being in charge of the Young Front, draw the right conclusions and preserve the Young Front as a strong, united and democratic,” A. Finkevich said.
