English fans in Minsk streets ahead of Belarus-England match (Photo)

Independence Avenue of Minsk is as crowded today as never before. English football fans carrying national and team flags gathered near Tsentraylny supermarket close to October Square.

English policemen, who arrive in Minsk specially for the Belarus-England match at Dinamo stadium, re enforcing public order.

About 2,000 English fans arrived in Minsk to watch Belarus-England World Cup 2010 qualifying match.

All tickets for the game are sold out. About 3,000 English supporters are expected at the match. Most of them flew to Minsk by charter flights. There were five such flights, and one is expected today. Besides, fans are coming to Minsk from Vilnius by bus, and from Warsaw by train.
