Young Front activist detained for picket near court building

Young Front activist Mikola Dzenidzenka, who participated in an action in support of young oppositionists, who had been tried in the Leninski district court for a picket near the KGB building, was detained by militia at 10 p.m. on November 10.

The Young Front activist was guarded to a militia station, was questioned about his activity in Minsk, where Mikola had arrived from Navapolatsk some months ago, and warned he was “too active”.

The activist thinks his detention is another demonstration of pressure of the law enforcement bodies over opposition activists.
