High-ranking officials of Interior Affairs Ministry and Prosecutor’s Office forced to resign

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has made high-ranking officials of the Internal Affairs Ministry and prosecutor’s office to resign.

As the ONT TV channel informed Thursday evening, such a decision has been adopted by the president after the consultations on fight with corruption.

The deputy Prosecutor General Mikalay Kupryjanau, Minsk region prosecutor Mikhail Snyahir, the first deputy of the Interior Affairs Alyaksnadr Shchurko, the deputy Interior Affairs Minister Viktar Filistovich are relieved from their offices.

Criminal cases have been initiated against Prosecutor General Mikalay Kupryjanau and Minsk region’s prosecutor Mikhail Snyahir, ONT informs.
