Session of “union” Council of Ministers delayed until 2009

A session of the Council of Ministers of Russia-Belarus “union state”, scheduled for the third decade of December in Moscow, has been delayed until next year.
ITAR TASS has learnt it from a source close to the government. According to the source, the parties planned to have a regular session of the “union” government in Moscow in the third decade of December, after a session of the Supreme State Council scheduled for December 1.
“But the session of the Supreme State Council was delayed sine die, so it was decided to delay the session of the Council of Ministers, too,” the source said.
It also informed a possible date of a regular session of the Council of Ministers of Russia-Belarus “union state” is the second half of January 2009. “As the session of the Council of Ministers was delayed, the common energy balance won’t ne approved this year,” the official said.
