In the early hours of June 10, a series of powerful explosions and black smoke rose into the sky. The "VNIIR-Progress" plant, which manufactures components for Russian weapons, was likely hit by a missile strike, according to "Focus".
Cheboksary is located approximately 1,000 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. OSINT channels reported a probable strike on the facility.
“Cheboksary, VNIIR was hit by a missile strike,” analysts write.
Footage circulating on Telegram channels shows thick black smoke rising over Cheboksary following the strikes.
Analysts suggest that the strikes were carried out using Ukrainian FP-5 "Flamingo" missiles.
