In the early hours of June 10, drones reached Russia’s Samara Region. The Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery was targeted.
After a series of explosions, a fire broke out and thick black smoke rose over the refinery grounds. This was reported by OSINT channels, writes "Focus".

“Samara, the Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery has been attacked,” analysts write.
Although the details of the attack and the extent of the damage to the facility are still unknown, footage of the drone strike on the site has been posted online. The videos capture the sounds of UAVs flying overhead, as well as explosions.
As of the time of publication, the Governor of the Samara Region of the Russian Federation had neither confirmed nor commented on the attacks on the region. Local Telegram channels only warned of a drone threat to Samara and the region around 4:00 a.m.
It is worth noting that the Novokuybyshevsk Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, located in the Volga region. It is part of the group of companies owned by the Russian oil giant Rosneft.
It is known that the refinery’s current processing capacity is at least 8–9 million tons of oil per year.
This facility has been targeted by drones on multiple occasions. The most recent massive attack on the facility was recorded in April of this year, after which a large-scale fire broke out.
